The Property team at Advinia Health Care is seeking a skilled Regional Decorator to provide comprehensive painting and decorating services across 13 Care Home sites in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To deliver all aspects of Painting & Decorating within a Care Home environment, ensuring a high level of quality and safety.
  2. Hanging of wallpaper, murals, and Muraspec wall coverings to create a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
  3. Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks, maintaining a safe working environment.
  4. Applying paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes & rollers, achieving a smooth and even application.
  5. Ensuring proper coverage and smooth application of paint, adhering to industry standards.
  6. FOLLOWING strict safety guidelines and using protective equipment when necessary, prioritizing employee well-being.
  7. Cleaning and maintaining painting tools and equipment, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  8. Reporting to the Property team on any needed projects and programmes in all areas, facilitating effective communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and residents.
  2. Resilience under pressure to meet deadlines and handle challenging situations.
  3. Ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate care home needs.
  4. Capacity to work independently, taking initiative to complete tasks.
  5. Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
  6. Full Driving Licence (essential) and own transport (essential) to facilitate site visits and travel.
