As a registered Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing patients across various specialties at Trafford General Hospital, supported by robust supervision and training. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and the multi-professional team based in the hospital and community services.

We offer rotations in therapy teams at Trafford General Hospital, including:

  1. Musculo-skeletal Outpatients
  2. Elective Orthopaedics
  3. Intermediate Neuro-Rehabilitation Unit
  4. Frailty Unit
  5. Stroke Unit
  6. Fragility Fracture Rehab Unit
  7. Acute Medicine and Surgery – based at Manchester Royal Infirmary

Alongside specialist supervision and training, you will receive support from a Trafford peer group and opportunities to participate in audit, service development, and projects such as career ambassadors and supporting the AHP Division and MFT wide projects.

You will be required to work as part of the seven-day, twilight, and on-call services provided on the Trafford General Hospital site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To participate in the on-call and weekend working as appropriate.
  • To work well as part of a therapy team and the wider MDT.
