Suffolk County Council is seeking a skilled Nurse to join their Health Business Centre as a Community Staff Nurse. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people in Suffolk.

About the Role

This position is for 18.5-27 hours per week, working from Allington House, Ipswich. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will provide information and health advice to parents and carers, supporting the health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families in Suffolk.

You will be a positive role model, team player, and have excellent clinical knowledge of children's health and development. The ideal candidate will be a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse with relevant experience of working with children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health advice and information via various channels to support the health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
  • Be a positive role model and team player, contributing to the delivery of health visiting and school nursing services across Suffolk.

The successful candidate will have good working IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft packages, SystmOne, and MS Teams. A salary of £34,314 to £39,513 per annum (pro rata for part-time) reflects the importance of this role in supporting the health and wellbeing of Suffolk's children and young people.
