Job Description

Job Title: Primary SEN Teacher

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Plymouth

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join our team at a prestigious school in Plymouth. As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure that students receive the support they need.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and experience as a Primary SEN Teacher.
  • Knowledge of various disabilities and effective support strategies.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle (desirable).
