Software Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our successful IT team at Acorn Insurance. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will work closely with the Lead QA Engineer to create and maintain test cases for our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Lead QA Engineer to develop and execute test cases for our software products.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Report defects and collaborate with the development team to provide feedback on quality issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets user requirements and delivers an exceptional user experience.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing, including experience with manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug issues and read network logs.
