We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our IT team at Acorn Insurance. Located in Liverpool City Centre, this role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum and a range of benefits.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with great opportunities to build your knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • You will be responsible for driving the automation testing tech stack to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • You will also participate in code reviews to ensure quality of code and test scripts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for our software products, including functional, performance, and regression testing requirements.
  • Coach and mentor Junior QA engineers on testing best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the QA team to ensure consistency in testing practices and processes across different products and projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in developing and executing automated test cases for web and mobile applications using frontend automation tools.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
  • Experience with frontend automation tools such as Cypress/Playwright and Appium.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Ability to drive the automation testing tech stack.
