Night Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Night Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a vital member of our security team, you will be responsible for protecting people and property by closely monitoring activities and reporting any incidents.
As a Night Security Officer, you will be on the frontline, using tools such as wands and metal detectors to ensure a safe and secure environment. With a strong focus on continuous training and service improvement, you will play an essential role in maintaining a secure and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property, and maintain all logbooks and records in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
- Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Interact with others in a supportive way and in accordance with our Core Values
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- SIA and CCTV licence
- RTW and 5yr checkable history
- 2 years experience as a Security Officer
- Flexible, professional, and adept at working under pressure
- Outstanding written, verbal, and oral communication skills
- Customer-oriented with a passion for high-level service
- Polite and proactive
- Able to use initiative and highly adaptable
- Demonstrate the values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness which Securitas prides itself on
