About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Java and related technologies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Java 8 and above, with experience in Spring Framework and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in software development.
