Lead Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in South Wootton. This role offers a unique chance for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality animal care and collaborating with a dedicated team.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week over four days, without weekend or OOH responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide top-notch veterinary care, perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency treatments, while maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional veterinary care to a diverse range of animals.
  • Conduct routine examinations, surgeries, and emergency interventions as required.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
  • Collaborate with our experienced team of veterinary nurses and support staff.
  • Ensure the clinic operates efficiently during your shifts.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care is preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from £60,000 to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
