Contract:

Term time plus additional days and training (42 weeks per year)

We are seeking a Part Time Learning Support Practitioner to join a specialist college and training hotel for young people with learning disabilities.

Main Purpose of the Role:

As a Learning Support Practitioner, your role will be to assist students in the residential houses and at the training hotel, helping them achieve the company's mission to equip young adults with learning disabilities to find sustainable employment in the hospitality sector and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in the residential houses and at the training hotel
  • Support students in achieving their goals and objectives
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Experience in supporting in the care or education industry
  • Desirable an understanding of working with people with a disability
  • Level 2 in English and Maths
  • Desirable Level 3 qualification in education or care
