Job Title: Part Time Learning Support Practitioner

We are seeking a Part Time Learning Support Practitioner to join our specialist college and training hotel for young people with learning disabilities.

Main Purpose of the Role:

As a Learning Support Practitioner, your role will be to assist students in the residential houses and at the training hotel, helping them achieve our mission to equip young adults with learning disabilities to find sustainable employment in the hospitality sector and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in their daily lives, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the residential houses and training hotel
  • Help students develop their skills and confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans for students
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential
  • Level 2 in English and Maths is required
  • A Level 3 qualification in education or care is desirable
Working Hours:

The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, with a 2-week rota pattern including shifts from 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10am-6pm.
