Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team as a key member in providing exceptional care and education to our young learners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging play and learning opportunities, building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and contributing to the overall success of our nursery.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality play and learning opportunities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children aged 0-5 years.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication, empathy, and understanding.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices that promote the well-being and safety of children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge, skills, and expertise in early years education and care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment that promotes a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Full and relevant Early Years Childcare qualification (Level 2 or above) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in early years education and care, preferably in a rural setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and its application in practice.
- 4-day working week with a regular day off.
- Regular working hours (Monday to Friday).
- Free parking onsite.
- Rural outdoor environment.
