About the Job:
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an experienced Professional Standards Investigator to join their team. As a member of our professional standards department, you will be responsible for conducting investigations into disciplinary matters, ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with relevant policies and laws.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident in presenting information to different audiences. You will also have the ability to transform complex data into clear, concise reports, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.

You will work closely with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and effectively. Your key responsibilities will include planning and preparing interviews, gathering witness statements, and generating further lines of inquiry. You will also develop and deliver training to employees and managers, helping them understand relevant procedures and protocols.

This is a permanent, part-time position, working 22 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is approximately £23,900 per annum, pro-rata, plus benefits such as local government pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
