About the Role

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join our team at Technical Futures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SystemVerilog and a minimum of 2+ years commercial design experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the development of innovative imaging equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing modules in SystemVerilog to specification, undertaking verification, and modifying designs to close timing.

In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to develop high-quality FPGA designs that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Design for low power consumption.
  • Verification and testing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Electronics or a related field (1st / 2.1).
  • 2+ years industrial FPGA design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog and its applications.
  • Familiarity with Linux command line and Version Control software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from £45,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
