Job Description

This Mechanic for Heavy Goods Vehicles role is perfect for someone who wants to work on a range of tractor and trailer units. The successful candidate will have experience in routine maintenance, MOT preparation, and scheduled servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of tractor and trailer units
  • Inspections to ensure vehicles meet DVSA standards
  • Work on trailers, including curtain sided, rigids, double deck
  • Correct defects and improve vehicle standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified mechanic with experience in HGV maintenance
  • Addtional certifications such as IRTEC or EV qualification

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience
