Prep Technician

**Role - PDI Technician / Prep Tech
Salary - £25,000 starting salary, £28,000 - £30,000 OTE
Location - Trafford, Manchester

Richard Abson Group are looking to find an experienced PDI or Prep Technician in the Manchester area.

The business is a well-established and reputable main dealer, working with prestige brands. Looking to employ a PDI Technician / Prep Tech with enthusiasm, experience with vehicle maintenance and strong communication skills. You will have opportunities toprogress your career, attend additional training courses and gain/build upon your current skills.

**Your main duties and responsibilities as PDI Technician / Prep Tech will include**:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, pre-delivery checks and general maintenance/repairs
- Inspect vehicles according to the manufacturers and business requirements
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for the records
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Assist other Technician's when required

**Requirements**: Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI in Vehicle Repair / Maintenance.

**Working hours and salary**: The dealership is offering a competitive salary, based on experience, qualifications and accreditations. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm. NO WEEKEND WORK
