About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to lead our engineering team in delivering a diverse portfolio of capital investment projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and allocating resources, recruiting and developing talent, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the engineering team to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability by embracing new digital technologies and developing sustainable solutions that reduce carbon and protect natural capital.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by fulfilling the role of CDM Principal Designer and championing a strong health, safety, and welfare culture within the team.
  • Collaborate and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals and build strong relationships.
  • Deliver excellence by instilling a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Engineering, preferably with Chartered Engineer status, and substantial experience in leading multi-disciplinary design teams on complex capital projects. Your expertise in fulfilling the responsibilities of a CDM Principal Designer will be crucial in ensuring safety and compliance across all design activities.
