Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Warehouse Operative to join our team at People Solutions Group Limited. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for receiving, dispatching, and storing goods in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and dispatch goods as required
  • Load and unload customer goods in line with warehouse targets
  • Pick goods from stock for store customers, adhering to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Count and re-bag stock as needed to maintain high standards
  • Ensure high levels of housekeeping and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer goods with care
  • Perform other relevant duties as directed by management to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly
Requirements:
  • Must have own transport due to the location of the site
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to speak and read English to a certain level for instruction and safety
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical fitness to lift and carry items up to 25kg
  • Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test and basic English & Numeracy Test
  • Right to Work in the UK and ability to prove it
