Lead Nursing Care

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
- Create and update individual care plans for our residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date medication records.
- Maintain efficient management of rotas, ensuring adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
- Provide day to day support and guidance to the team - promoting our residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
- Build lasting relationships with the residents and the people they care about, as well as caring about the home itself - fostering a sense of community.
- Liaise with local partners, playing an important role in raising the care home's profile in the local area and beyond.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse: Must have a valid NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
- Resident-Centric: Understands the impact of quality nursing care on residents' lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
- Clinical Knowledge: Up to date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
- Communication & Leadership: Able to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
- Time Management: Excellent at prioritising tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
