Risk Placement Specialist

The Placement Specialist is a key member of the Baldwin Risk Partners team, responsible for driving organic growth and developing strong relationships with insurance company partners. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing and Relationship Building: Responsible for marketing all assigned accounts, maintaining relationships with insurance company partners, and following market insights/trends.
- Account Management: Assists in auditing and compliance of marketing information, coordinates service delivery on assigned accounts, and develops initial placement and renewal strategy.
- Team Development: Assists in the mentoring, coaching, and training for the Marketing Analyst Team, peer reviews marketing work product of others, and serves as a mentor to colleagues as requested.
- Business Development: Drives organic growth by quoting new accounts and delivering those results to prospective clients, supports the Advisor in a smooth transition for every prospect to client, and looks for opportunities to improve the firm, Business Segment, and processes.
- Technical Expertise: Technical expert and proficient at moving prospects through the onboarding process, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with a heavy emphasis on Excel.

- Skills and Abilities: Capable of cultivating strong relationships with insurance company partners, including key insurance markets and insurance company partner representatives, detail oriented and able to analyze various plans to provide the appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects, ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with all firm business segments, communicates well and effectively, demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrates the organization's core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm's culture.
