Pertemps is seeking a skilled Transportation Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the crew, you will be responsible for assisting drivers with manoeuvring and delivering, installing and recovering temporary roadways using a truck mounted crane.

The ideal candidate will have a full car (manual) driving licence, be happy with being away from home for potentially the full week, and be able to follow exact direction. Knowledge of hand tools and the ability to operate heavy equipment (crane) are also essential.

As a Transportation Assistant, you will be required to work in all weather conditions and have a positive attitude. Accommodation will be paid for when working away, and opportunities to gain HGV Class 1 will be available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering, installing and recovering temporary roadways using a truck mounted crane
  • Assisting drivers with manoeuvring
  • Helping assist driver with end client
  • Assisting with installing and removing mats
