Facilities Coordinator

About the Role:
">We are seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to provide comprehensive housing management services, promoting resident independence and social inclusion within our extra care setting.
This role involves effective day-to-day housing and tenancy management, collaboration with external agencies to support residents' health and wellbeing, and maintenance of high standards in managing communal facilities.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of existing housing law and upcoming changes, deep understanding of issues affecting the social housing sector and tenants, familiarity with housing policies, procedures, and best practices, solid understanding of equal opportunities and diversity principles, and proficiency in housing systems and databases.
As part of our bank staff, you will be provided with hours on a rota as and when required. You will also be expected to complete a basic DBS check and participate in a 24-hour rota as needed.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Maintain high standards in managing communal facilities
- Conduct regular checks of fire and emergency-call equipment
- Educate residents on tenancy conditions and legal aspects
- Establish and verify Housing Benefit claims
- Liaise with customer contact centre and contractors for repairs
- Record customer interactions on PA's CRM system
- Support new colleague induction
Responsibilities and Duties:
">- Carry out daily inspections of the building to ensure its cleanliness and maintenance
- Respond promptly to any reported maintenance issues
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery
