Are you ready to take the next step in your management career with the UK's leading automotive service, maintenance, and repair business? We're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Halfords.

About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Centre Manager to drive profitability and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You'll be responsible for managing daily sales and customer service, as well as providing coaching and training to colleagues. Your technical and mechanical skills will be put to the test as you work alongside our technicians to ensure seamless service delivery.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £26,175 to £33,000 per annum
  • An average uncapped bonus of £7,100 per year, with potential for more
  • 5 days a week, with opportunities for extra earnings through our refer-a-friend scheme
  • A range of benefits, including 5.6 weeks' annual leave, discounts on garage bills and Halfords products, and access to our Cycle to Work Scheme

Requirements
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role, with a strong background in customer service and sales
  • Technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to work alongside technicians
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and train colleagues
  • IT proficiency, with the willingness to learn in-house systems
  • A current valid driving licence
