About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Halfords Autocentres. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in driving business performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Centre Manager to provide productive management and leadership, driving profitability and focusing on the customer journey.
  • Divide your time between the workshop, working alongside technicians, and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
  • Help drive business performance, passionate about customer experience, and looking for a long-term career with excellent progression and training schemes.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £26,175 to £33,000 per annum.
  • Average uncapped bonus of £7,100 per year, with potential to earn more.
  • 5 days a week.
  • Opportunity to earn extra with our refer a friend scheme.
  • Benefits include 5.6 weeks' annual leave, up to 50% off garage bills, and discounts on groceries, shopping, insurance, and more.
Requirements
  • Experience in delivering high customer satisfaction and experience through effective management.
  • Ability to deliver coaching/training in moment to colleagues.
  • Technical/Mechanical ability or experience.
  • Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
  • IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
  • Good time management.
  • A current valid driving licence.
