Lead the Way in Sustainability at Lidl GB

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sustainability to join our Corporate Affairs department at Lidl GB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our sustainability strategy nationwide, ensuring we meet our CSR commitments and maintain a positive reputation in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver Lidl GB's sustainability strategy, aligning with our business goals and CSR commitments.
  • Lead the Sustainability team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful implementation of our sustainability initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including NGOs, industry partners, and internal teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and progress.
  • Monitor and report on CSR KPIs, supplier performance, and market developments, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Represent Lidl GB on sustainability positions at external events, promoting our brand and values.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in building high-performing teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to persuade and convince others.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and internationally, with German language skills an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
