Head of Sustainability Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Head of Sustainability will play a crucial role in driving our company's environmental sustainability strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Environmental Sustainability Strategy: Refine and deliver our Environmental Sustainability strategy, ensuring it aligns with our corporate goals and objectives.
  2. Customer Collaboration: Identify and collaborate with customers who share our sustainability ambitions, working closely with our business development and Group Sustainability teams to devise effective strategies to win work.
  3. Influencing the Business: Positively challenge and influence the business to ensure environmental sustainability becomes an integral part of decision-making across regions, project teams, and functions.
  4. Sustainability Response: Work closely with our bid team to create and lead the sustainability response, collaborating with experts externally and across the Group to develop innovative solutions that meet clients' and partners' sustainability ambitions.
  5. Performance Management: Take ownership of our company's performance against Group environmental strategy and targets, driving change at business unit, project, and individual levels.
  6. Team Leadership: Build, motivate, and optimize a high-performance team to drive environmental performance improvement and support the delivery of our strategic goals.
  7. Personal Performance Objectives: Work with our Group Sustainability and Residential leadership to define environmental personal performance objectives for senior leaders, cascading down through their teams and clarifying the required change each year to deliver our strategy.
