About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Project Worker at our Pentland Way Residential Service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people with learning disabilities and/or autism, providing support and care in a residential setting.

As a Residential Project Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the young people and their families/carers to achieve positive outcomes, as identified in the Young People's Individual Support Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or autism in a residential setting
  • Working closely with the staff team to provide a professional and accepting relationship with the young people
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with young people, their families/carers, and other professionals
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Individual Support Plans
  • Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the overall well-being of the service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or above (e.g. SVQ3 children and young people) plus an HNC in social services
  • Experience in working directly with children and young people in a similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for young people
