We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Physiotherapist to join our team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Physiotherapy service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and treatments to patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community environments.
- Maintain an active professional development portfolio and engage in ongoing post-graduate learning to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment programs and rehabilitation goals in conjunction with patients, using core knowledge, clinical reasoning, and health coaching skills.
- Be responsible for organizing and planning a daily caseload, delegating tasks to assistant practitioners and rehabilitation assistants, and supervising their work.
- Participate in the physiotherapy out-of-hours on-call rota, treating patients requiring emergency respiratory physiotherapy, and be confident and competent in treating critically ill patients.
- Degree in physiotherapy.
- Experience in core areas of respiratory, orthopaedics, outpatients, medicine/elderly, and neurology.
- Able to work within a multi-disciplinary team and have a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
