Job Title: Special Education Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Support Worker to join our team at a SEND school in Chorley. As a Special Education Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one and small group support to students with severe learning disabilities (SLD) and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored learning plans to meet each student's unique needs
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages independence and confidence
• Support with daily activities and routines, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver holistic education and care

Requirements:

• Experience working with severe learning disabilities (SLD) and challenging behaviour is essential
• Must have a valid driving license for potential school trips or outreach work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and patient approach
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required
