The Role

As a Sales Assistant, you'll play a key role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for supporting your store team, maximising sales opportunities, and providing a VIP concierge service to our customers. You'll also be expected to demonstrate a passion for wine and spirits, and to continuously learn about our products to support your WSET qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting your team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Offer a VIP concierge service to our customers, actively contacting them with updates on products and tastings.
  • Sell the story, not the discount, by demonstrating and sharing your passion for product with customers through an in-depth knowledge of our range.
  • Take ownership of your wine knowledge, constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
  • Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
