Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery, with a focus on electrical maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focusing on electrical maintenance and fitting work across all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, shut downs, and project work.
  • Working in a dedicated multi-skilled team, with a focus on electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supporting the handover of work to the opposite shift and ensuring works are logged and recorded.
  • Working safely at all times and following safe systems of work.
  • Being actively involved in the development and continued planned preventative maintenance schedule.

Requirements

  • Electrically trained and qualified, either through an apprenticeship or holding electrical engineering qualifications.
  • Electrical background in a similar environment, in industrial or production or manufacturing.
  • Experience with AC/DC motors, inverters, DC drives, sensors, relays, control panels, PLCs, fault finding, and repairs.
  • Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with a hunger to learn and physically fit.
  • Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in.
