Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance work across all plant and machinery, with a focus on fault finding, planned maintenance, and project work.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance work across all plant and machinery, including fault finding, planned maintenance, and project work.
Identify solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Support the handover of work to the opposite shift and ensure works are logged and recorded.
Work safely at all times and follow safe systems of work.
Be actively involved in the development and continued planned preventative maintenance schedule.

Requirements

Electrically trained and qualified either through an Apprenticeship or hold electrical engineering qualifications.
Electrical background in a similar environment, such as industrial or production or manufacturing environment.
Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger to learn and physically fit.
Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in.

Working Environment

The role is based in a busy factory environment, where you will be working with a variety of machinery, including plastics related equipment, such as extruding, moulding, conveyors, mixers, and hydraulics. You will be working on night shift, Monday to Thursday, 10pm till 6am, and short day Friday, 6pm till 12am. The role provides autonomy, accountability, and a degree of flexibility.
