Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients, ensuring comprehensive clinical care.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, establishing rapport with patients and caregivers, and making confident decisions.
- Recognize and initiate advice of relevant specialisms as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with a multi-professional team to achieve collective brilliance.
- Discharge or refer patients as appropriate to internal or external clinical pathways.
Requirements
- Be a registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
- Hold a minimum of 2 modules at Level 7, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury.
- Be capable of conducting a concise clinical history and physical examination.
- Formulate a differential diagnosis management plan.
- Exhibit effective communication abilities in clinical settings, strong verbal and written skills, and proficiency in computer usage.
- Display strong negotiation skills and critical thinking techniques.
- Be aware of contemporary frameworks and advancements in out-of-hours care, as well as specialized clinical/technical skills in health and social care.
- Demonstrate motivation, passion, positivity, resilience, and a determination to provide outstanding patient care.
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
