Job Title:
Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will support children aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a specialist provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to children with complex needs.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individual education plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and support the class teacher.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £14.00-£15.28.
  • A permanent contract with 40 hours per week, term-time only.
  • The opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team.
