Senior Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Real Recruitment Solutions. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of civil engineering projects, including drainage systems, highway layouts, and external works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, including drainage systems, highway layouts, and external works.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, developers, and architects to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of junior engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in civil engineering, preferably in a consultancy environment.
  • Experience working with local authorities, developers, and architects on civil engineering aspects of residential, commercial, and retirement/care schemes.
  • Varied experience working on schemes through the planning process, from pre-app through to condition discharge.
  • Civil engineering project management experience, including projects combining drainage, external works, and highways elements.
