About the Role:

We are seeking a Part-Time Health and Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Mattinson Partnership, a family-run business specialising in high-end commercial and retail refurbishments across London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards, and providing expert advice to design teams on preconstruction matters. You will also oversee temporary works, conduct incident investigations, and review projects to ensure consistency and compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and sustainability practices
  • Oversee temporary works and conduct incident investigations
  • Provide expert advice and support to design teams on preconstruction health and safety matters
  • Review projects and designs to ensure consistency and compliance across the business

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have experience as a Health and Safety Manager, ideally within the construction or refurbishment sector. A strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and sustainability practices is essential, along with a Temporary Works Coordinator ticket and experience in incident investigation. NEBOSH certification is highly desirable.

What We Offer:

This part-time role comes with a competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a supportive work environment that values each team member.
