Job Title: Stockroom Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Frasers. As a Stockroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stockroom, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting the sales team in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.
  • Inventory Control: Participate in regular stock counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Product Distribution: Transfer stock from the stockroom to the sales floor efficiently, ensuring that products are available for customers.
  • Organization: Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized stockroom, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Supporting Sales Team: Work collaboratively with the sales team to fulfill stock requests and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Replenishment: Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring displays are consistently stocked and visually appealing.
  • Loss Prevention: Be vigilant in monitoring stock movement to prevent loss, theft, and damage.

Requirements:

  • Leadership: A background in a team leader or people management role, with the ability to manage the team's workload, delegate, and drive performance.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous and organized approach, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude, able to work well within a team.
  • Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.

*Please note that this is a full-time permanent contract, 5 days over 7. The role will include a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings, and will require some early morning starts from 7am. Transport to and from Meadowhall outside of retail hours is essential.*
