About the Role:


We are seeking a talented Data Insights Analyst to join our Market Insights team at Similarweb. As a Data Insights Analyst, you will play a key role in creating actionable insights and compelling narratives using data analysis and research. Your custom data analysis will be utilised to uplevel the content that fuels prospecting, marketing campaigns, PR and events - content that ultimately helps the business increase and retain customers.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Partner with the market insights team to scope out and execute custom data analysis for insights projects, reports, and collateral
  • Create custom queries to extract and manipulate data from our large-scale, complex and disparate quantitative datasets
  • Prepare and communicate customised data analysis to internal stakeholders, ensuring proper usage of the data
  • Summarise data for the production of tables, charts, and graphs
  • Collaborate with the Data Labs team to thoroughly understand the intricacies of our data, enabling data usage recommendations for specific use cases

Requirements:



  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Python, Excel)
  • Have 2 to 3 years experience working in a similar analytics role, ideally working with digital marketing and/or consumer data
  • Use analytical skills to drive business impact
  • Have a general understanding of digital marketing trends
  • Enjoy working collectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to accomplish business goals
  • Expert in time management and multi-tasking, able to manage and prioritise projects to meet deadlines independently
  • Be proactive and creative with a 'can do' attitude, open to new challenges, and interested in learning new skills
