About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Project Supervisor to join our team at Niyaa People. As a Fire Project Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our fire door team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the fire door team, ensuring all staff adhere to health and safety procedures.
  • Review and update strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with new legislation.
  • Support the management of contracts and contractors to improve fire safety.
  • Analyze data from fire risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the management team on fire safety and compliance.
Requirements
  • Extensive technical knowledge of fire safety, including fire doors.
  • Understanding of joinery procedures and supervisory experience.
  • Desirable: understanding of social housing and the Fire Safety/Building Safety Act.
  • Health and safety experience on-site is essential.
