Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Specialist - Young People Service to join our dedicated team in Bracknell. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and contribute to the success of our service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide person-centred support to young people, helping them develop essential life skills and promote social inclusion. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help create a supportive environment that encourages independence and self-confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to young people, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Conduct regular key work sessions, monitoring progress and identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Manage risk and safety effectively, ensuring the well-being of customers at all times.
  • Participate in learning and development activities to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in the social care sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust and rapport with young people and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding, with commitment to promoting positive outcomes for young people.
