Highway Maintenance Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Maintenance Manager to join our team at Ringway Jacobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance of approximately 150,000 lighting assets within our contract with Essex Highways.

About the Role
  • Manage a range of resources to deliver maintenance work programs, including internal staff, supply chain partners, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Develop Street Lighting Service Plans and Task Orders annually in collaboration with the ECC Commissioning Team.
  • Deliver and manage Street Lighting contractual KPI's.
  • Help develop a street lighting service across Essex, adapting and changing the service post LED upgrade completion.
  • Manage costs through our cost capture system and maximise value in relation to these costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Applicable degree qualification, HNC/HND with operational experience.
  • Member of the Institution of Lighting Professionals.
  • Excellent IT skills with Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of HEA working requirements with current ESC card.
