The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre provides specialist oncology services to a significant portion of the Scottish population, delivering local, regional, and national services. The centre sees a substantial number of new patients annually and provides ongoing care to a large number of return patients. The centre's services are well-established, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and contributing to national and international research.

The Specialist Oncology Service is seeking a forward-thinking general practitioner with a passion for oncology to join the team. This role presents a unique opportunity for a clinician with imagination, drive, and a commitment to working collaboratively with other oncology consultants and the wider cancer multidisciplinary team.

Clinical Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will provide specialist oncology input into the service, working closely with the cancer services in West of Scotland, which are linked to local and regional multidisciplinary teams. The post holder will participate in clinical supervision of trainees and contribute to the development of clinical trials within the service.

Teaching, Management, Research, and Audit:

The centre has a well-established program of postgraduate medical education, with a focus on delivering high-quality training and development opportunities for clinicians.

Research Opportunities:
