Job Role: Structural Engineering Apprentice

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Structural Engineering Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of various building projects, from small domestic extensions to large, multi-storey apartment and office developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and analysis of building structures, ensuring compliance with British Standards and Euro-codes.
  • Develop knowledge of various building techniques and materials used in construction.
  • Conduct site inspections and gather relevant data to compile comprehensive reports.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients, building and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Attend internal design review meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Keen interest in the construction industry, buildings, or water/drains systems.
  • Competent with computers and able to learn new software.
  • Problem solver with the ability to offer solutions to challenges.
  • Able to work and collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Confident, articulate, collaborative, and proactive.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills and career with training support.
  • Good time management and organisational skills to efficiently manage workload.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
