Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Manager to lead our intermediate care team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant will have excellent team leadership skills and experience working in a ward setting.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team and make a real difference to the lives of our patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centred care while leading and supporting your team.

You will be passionate about promoting new projects and developments, and have a strong clinical lead. You will also support the team in delivering a safe personalised approach to care and treatment aimed at promoting the health and well-being of people with a focus on rehabilitation, complex discharge planning, and returning to community-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage the intermediate care team to deliver high-quality patient-centred care
  • To promote new projects and developments and support the team in delivering a safe personalised approach to care and treatment
  • To ensure that all members of the team are supported and developed to reach their full potential
  • To work closely with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of care

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified nurse with up-to-date registration with NMC
  • Experience of working as a Band 6 nurse in a ward setting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
