Ophthalmic Specialist Optometrist Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated optometrist to join our team as an Ophthalmic Specialist Optometrist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract surgery patients, overseeing glaucoma care within our virtual ophthalmology led service, and providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists in general and oculoplastic clinics.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract surgery patients.
  • Oversee glaucoma care within our virtual ophthalmology led service.
  • Provide clinical support to our ophthalmologists in general and oculoplastic clinics.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Enthusiasm for pursuing higher qualifications in glaucoma.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
