Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Renewable Energy Maintenance Specialist to join our team at RES. This role is responsible for delivering O&M services to offshore renewable energy assets, including offshore meteorological masts, wind turbines, and transmission assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver operation and maintenance services, including electrical & mechanical work, inspection and planned maintenance of onshore and offshore assets, reactive maintenance, housekeeping, delivery of retrofits, and coordination of site works.
  • To ensure compliance with site safety rules, including escalation and reporting of any safety, environmental, and operational issues.
  • To maintain complex systems involving difficult access and provide relevant information for reports to issue to clients.
  • To support the production and review of procedures, processes, and technical literature, draft and/or provide inputs into proposals and related cost books.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification desirable.
  • Experience working in multidiscipline teams, mechanical, electrical, power electronics, and hydraulic maintenance activities and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of wind industry, offshore working, transmission systems, and working at height.
  • IRATA or rigging qualification, GWO Training desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience, with additional benefits including a competitive pension scheme, life assurance, and generous holiday entitlement.
