Transmission Maintenance Professional
Job DescriptionThis role will be based both onshore and offshore in the UK East Region, supporting substations. You'll undertake maintenance activities on Transmission assets, reporting to the Transmission Manager.
Responsibilities- Supporting 3rd party Service Providers' attendance to sites for Planned Preventative Maintenance activities
- Lifting duties, including crane, hoist, and davit operations
- General substation duties, ensuring assets are kept in operational condition
- Assisting management of materials and logistics
- Daily supervisory tasks as the person in charge of the substation
- Carrying out remedial activities on system defects/observations
- Mechanical and/or electrical technical qualification (time-served apprentice)
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar certification
- Experience working with operational substations and/or within the offshore wind industry
- Ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, reflecting your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you'll enjoy benefits such as pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional growth.
