Senior MRI Radiographer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to join our dynamic team at The Montefiore Hospital Imaging Department in Hove.

The successful candidate will provide a customer-focused, high-quality MRI Radiography service to our patients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Administer IV contrast according to Spire protocol, utilizing specialized imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, and Radiology Cardiology.
  • Provide highly skilled and specialized imaging for patients, making informed decisions on diagnostic imaging requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with others involved in patient care, ensuring seamless coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Implement and maintain Spire radiology procedures, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Senior Radiographer, with a strong track record of leadership and critical thinking.
  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent, with current registration with the HCPC.
  • IV injection certificate of competence, with knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission.
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom, with UK experience.
