Job Title: Head of History

Westminster School is seeking an exceptional individual to lead our History department, driving academic excellence and fostering a vibrant learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive History curriculum, ensuring alignment with school goals and academic standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to History teachers, promoting professional development and collaboration.
  • Manage departmental resources, facilities, and budget, ensuring efficient use and effective allocation.
  • Represent the History department within and outside the school, promoting its academic reputation and achievements.
  • Prepare the department for ISI inspection, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of academic leadership and curriculum development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with experience in managing budgets and resources.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
