Aramark is seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter to join our team at Uppingham School.

We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual to assist with food preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of the kitchen and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwash and surrounding areas within the site.
  • Carry out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant.
  • Clean and sterilize counter tops, walls, and sinks.
  • Assist with food preparation as required.
  • Assist with daily and weekly deep cleans.
  • Assist with deliveries and organize them in the correct storage areas.
  • Remove waste from waste containers and dispose of them in the correct external bins.
  • Provide assistance to front of house and kitchen staff as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous KP experience is desirable but not essential, on the job training will be provided.
  • A passion for food and service.
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties.
  • Customer focused and a good communicator.
  • Excellent team player.
